Not confusing at all ,,,,1" or less ,,,OR Factory style taperedhrod wrote:Glenn the rules are confusing on the barrel it says 1" x 36" but must be tapered and stock appearing but can have a drop choke.to me that says no 1" barrels only profiled barrels am I rite in the way I'm reading that please set the record straight as not to be confused when the shoot starts. Thanks Rod.
Stock appearing means stock looking gun's, no rail's no heavy weight bench gun's ( outlaw type) One inch barrels and drop in or screw ins are ok, EXPAMPLE savage 210 with a factory stock and a 1'' barrel (OK) rem. 870 with a factory stock and a add on 36'' barrel (OK) 1'' OR 7/8'' (OK) IF it weighs18# or less 1'' or 7/8'' shoot it......I hope this helps...hrod wrote:1" or under I understand but why does it say stock appearing a drop in is not stock appearing. If I showed up with a railgun with a 1" barrel and a drop in choke and weighs 18 lbs or less I would be legal rite. That's far from stock appearing. I just want to be clear to me as to what I can shoot after driving 400 + miles!
2 CARDS per rd. ck. out the club on shooting house page go to ohio down to beaver creek sportsman club and click on it our web page will come up. Last yrs shoot..and you can see the club lay-out.gunbutcher wrote:1 or 2 cards per rounds?
No suntan for you your shooting, besides there is a side pot building on you and hank.JOHN870 wrote:I've got a straight 1" drop in. If it doesn't meet the rules then I'm heading south that weekend. Hope so...
Denny I wasn't trying to be difficult I just wanted me and everyone else to know exactly what was and what was not allowed. I'm not afraid to shoot against any rail gun or bench gun no mater how big the barrel or how much they weigh with any of my pump guns heck I do it all the time I just wanted a clarification from Matchpack and he gave it to me.Denny wrote:hrod,,, the reason for the wording, boils back to something I did ,,,,,,(again),, when prepping for Potomac, I had an 1 3/8 X36" barrel tapered to 1" at the muzzle,,,after considerable conversation,, I was told No Fk'n way,,,,,lol And I agreed to cut it down before we went,, and I totally agree. That's why written rules are needed.
